The Athletic’s instant analysis:
What does this mean for the Hurricanes?
Carr is the fifth top-100 recruit to commit to Miami, joining five-star receiver Joshisa Trader (No. 31), four-star safety Zaquan Patterson (No. 62), four-star edge rusher Marquise Lightfoot (No. 65) and four-star running back Kevin Riley (No. 70). The Hurricanes have prioritized defensive linemen and elite receivers in this class. Top-ranked receiver Jeremiah Smith (Ohio State commitment) was among several elite 2024 and 2025 prospects to attend Saturday’s game against Georgia Tech.
